Why from the same office.
When the HVAC designer and the Title 24 consultant are different people, the equipment on the mechanical sheets and the equipment in the energy report can drift apart, and plan check notices. Here both come from one office and use one set of numbers: the same loads, the same equipment, one report.

What's in a Title 24 package?
The CBECC-Res model, the CF1R for your permit set, and responses to plan check comments on the energy report, unless the comment comes from a change by others or a later code change. HERS/ECC field verification is by a separate rater. Fixed fee, quoted from your plans; exact scope is in your proposal.
Which energy code do you model to?
The California Energy Code (Title 24, Part 6) in effect for your permit application.
What do you need for Title 24?
The architectural set and the window schedule. We come back with questions only when we need them, and a fixed fee.
Who signs the Title 24 documents?
Title 24 documents are signed by the documentation author and the responsible designer. When we also design the HVAC, the final Manual J and Manual S are stamped, and with Strome Signature so are the drawn mechanical sheets.
Can I get Title 24 without the HVAC design?
Yes. Title 24 only is its own package, for new homes and additions. We model the construction and equipment shown on your plans or given to us, and if they change, we quote the update first. When we also design the HVAC, both use the same loads and the same equipment.
