For builders

HVAC designed to the standard you build to.

Room-by-room loads, equipment selected to them, and clearances settled on paper, with an engineer who answers.

What changes on your job.

What often happens

HVAC found in the field.

What we do

Worked out on paper.

Duct routes, equipment locations, and service clearances are worked out on paper, so the field doesn't find the conflict first.

What often happens

A sub left to size it.

What we do

A set your sub can price and your client can read.

Equipment schedule, room airflows, and notes in plain words, with the numbers behind every pick.

What often happens

A design fee that moves.

What we do

A fixed fee.

Quoted from your plans, so it goes into your bid as one number. If the plans change after we start, we quote the change before doing the work. Exact scope is in your proposal.

What often happens

Plan check comes back.

What we do

An engineer who answers.

Plan check questions go straight to the engineer who did the work. Title 24 comes from the same office, so the sheets and the energy report agree.

Bring us in before the permit set goes in.

If the architect hasn't drawn the mechanical closet yet, the space and clearance reservation goes to them early, and everyone builds around it.

Building for an owner who asked about fresh air or wildfire smoke?

Strome Signature includes the indoor air quality level: balanced ventilation, MERV 13 to 16 filtration, and air sensing with a smoke mode, designed with the HVAC and the Title 24. On a remodel, the indoor air quality level can be added to HVAC design only.

From a recent job.

Described without names until the clients say otherwise.

A two-building project

Before the load calc was finished on a recent two-building project, the architect had a space and clearance reservation for every outdoor unit, fan coil, and equipment closet.

Send the plans if you have them; a PDF of the architectural set is enough. No plans yet? The square footage and what you need are enough for a quote. We reply by email with questions, if any, and a quote.
