About the firm
The commercial standard, brought home.
Strome's founding engineer spent years engineering major commercial construction. There, the mechanical system is calculated, drawn, and coordinated before it's built. On homes, it's often an afterthought: sized by the square foot and worked out in the field.
Engineering for the people who live there.
The people who live there are the ones who live with the guess: the bedroom that never cools, the system bigger and louder than the house needs. A new home is engineered everywhere else: the structure, the energy model, the drainage. The mechanical system is often the exception.
Strome engineers it the way commercial work is engineered, before the drywall goes up. Loads come room by room from your drawings, and equipment is selected to match them. Ventilation, duct routes, and clearances are worked out on paper, and Title 24 comes from the same numbers in the same office. Every design is aimed at quiet, even comfort for the people who live there.
Every package is engineered by a licensed California mechanical engineer who practices in HVAC, and that's who answers your questions.
